Online Yoga Therapy Programme for Health

Lisa is a qualified Yoga Therapist, registered and certified with the International Association of Yoga Therapists.  (IAYT). Yoga Therapy is an intensive yoga practice, where I conduct an assessment on your body that can be done online and develop a specific practice for you to do every day. The practice hones in on your prioritised health needs to bring you back into a state of balance. I video myself doing your unique yoga practice which you can then download to your device.  The programme is updated as your body changes and comes back into a state of balance.  Typically, a client will have on average 3 sessions with me after the initial consultation. Some clients require more sessions depending on their level of imbalance or injury.

Your programme may include anything from an intensive prana lifting practice, to a deep relaxation to heal the body where deep rest is required and minimal movement.  We work with breath, movement (often very gentle), visualisation, meditation and chanting.

Yoga Therapy is only a suitable option for clients who are disciplined to do a daily practice.  Otherwise it is a waste of time and of your money.

Typically I give clients a practice to do based on how much time they can afford (e.g. 30 mins to 90 mins), with a link to a mp3 meditation to do in the evenings if it is suitable for the client.  Updates for the programme are done fortnightly.

In October 2019 I required spine surgery to remedy a severely herniated disc.  I had incredible neuropathic pain which prevented me from independently toileting and dressing myself.  I understand pain and how debilitating it can be.  I used my knowledge of Yoga Therapy to prepare my body for surgery, and how to heal it post operatively.  I was back to Teaching Yoga and doing a daily practice in January to the amazement of my Surgeon. Yoga Therapy works.

Investment

$180 Aus for an online consultation (normally 1 hour) and I will create a practice for you and email you a link so you can save it to your device. This link is only viewable to you.

Updates to your programme are $80 Aus an hour.  You will be sent though an updated video for your practice.

Clients whom wish to have a Yoga Therapy Programme, will need to submit a Yoga Waiver and release form.
